Phyllicia's dedication to the field of behavioral health started in 2012 and earned her Masters in Social Work from Aurora University in 2021. Currently licensed in the state of Wisconsin as an Advanced Practice Social Worker and Substance Abuse Counselor.

Throughout her career, Phyllicia has shown a remarkable commitment to helping individuals facing various challenges. She has worked extensively in inpatient behavioral health and partial hospitalization programs, where she primarily assisted adults grappling with both mental health and substance use issues. Additionally, her work has extended to children, teenagers, and families. Phyllicia's efforts have extended beyond her clinical roles as she has actively contributed to mental health and addiction awareness in Rock County. She has passionately engaged with local fire departments, paramedics, and paramedic students, emphasizing the significance of understanding different mental health disorders, their signs, and symptoms, all while promoting trauma-informed practices. She has also worked towards destigmatizing seeking assistance among professionals, addressing the issue of vicarious trauma among those in high-risk occupations.

Phyllicia's approach to therapy is characterized by compassion and a deep understanding of each individual's unique journey.
